Born in Athens, raised in the U.S., Tania studied Economics at the London School of Economics (BSc) and Business Administration (MBA) at INSEAD in Fontainebleau, France.

She started her career in the Marketing Department of Johnson & Johnson Hellas and joined Lavipharm S.A. in 1987, a listed company active in the Pharmaceutical, Cosmetic and Healthcare Service provision sectors.

She played a significant role in the Group's international expansion and operations and led a wide variety of divisions and projects over the years, both in Greece and abroad.

She was Chief Operating Officer from 2002-2007, after which she assumed the position of Deputy Chief Executive Officer of the Group of companies until mid-2017.

Amongst the many functions under her responsibility, Tania set up the company’s Corporate Legal Department and supervised it for over 20 years, cooperating with a multitude of major law firms in Greece, the U.S. and Europe.

She was responsible and has significant experience in the formulation and implementation of strategy, the negotiation and closing of local and international alliances, joint ventures and in-licensing and out-licensing deals and she drove almost every major business transaction involving the company over the past 20+ years.

She was an Executive Board member of Lavipharm S.A., the listed company and a board member of a series of its subsidiaries and affiliates for over 15 years.
